Who was there? Such nice weather for it, and Brighton was literally solid with bikes Smile Great range of bikes too, from 1098's to rat trikes.

i didn't go but would love to see pics. the weather was indeed good. i was painting a friends door and went into the garden and the sun was sweet. the ride home was nice. also actually decided to clean my bike and grease it up too. i don't have a garage and do not outdoors so the weather has to be good.

Was awesome, apart from nearly getting run over by immigrants, then 10 mins later same thing but a stupid blonde bint that looked about 18. Oh and also my R&G vibrated off on the way back Shocked dunno where it went.

Have a few pics but their camera phone quality so not much point uploading, met c_dug in brighton and saw hooders at one point but he was too far away to catch him.

Best day i've had this summer, i loved it!

me and the missus went there, as part of our little holiday.

Rode to Guildford on Thursday, switched to a '66 Boneville. Rode that to Fareham on Friday. Saturday rode it to Brighton to watch the speed trials. Got fed up with the Bonny breaking down, and bits falling off of it, after bodge number 26, I decided rather than ride on to Eastbourne, to ride it back to Guildford a day early, before it got dark, and switch bikes again. Stayed in Eastbourne over night, then rather than join in any mayhem, had a sedate ride over the cliffs on the A259 about 9am from Eastbourne to Brighton, stayed all day.

Best bit for me, was arriving early, and sitting on those concrete bollards watching all the other bikes arrive. I remember laughing, as all these harleys and chops came past, and amdist them all was a little Puch 50.

Worse bits, getting sunburned on the back, and oh yeah, I left my parking light on, and a couple of folks helped me bumpstart my bike, and I spent 10 minutes queuing on the exit ramp making damned sure not to stall! Embarassed

Oh yeah, and someone on another bike fell off of their pillion seat onto me as we were all parking up. No harm done though.

Next day rode through the Dartford Tunnel to South End, then back today. Backroads and minor A roads for the whole trip wherever possible Cool

Tunnels are cool - I regularly play the fool in the service tunnels in and out of Heathrow - the big main one is crap for echoes!
