Did you get that feeling that you wanted to jump just to see what it feels like? I know I do when at great heights like that.

My feet tingle when I see stuff like that, could never watch that ITV filler where they're painting the roof of a tower block and it goes over the edge to show they've painted all the way down...

Just a note i didnt actually take that pic ( no mobiles allowed ) but its exactly where i stood.

Its absolutely stunning and a beutiful piece of engineering. Nah I never felt like jumping but there were scaffolding type people absailing down it, and acess to part of it is done with lifts just dangling in the air!!

You must've been lucky, it's raining, cloudy, foggy, misty, windy and generally miserable there 350 days a year. I tend to think of it as the Gates of Hell rather than the Severn Bridge (when heading into Wales).

That's pretty cool. Can (almost) see my house from up there. Well, you'd be able to see the hill behind it anyway.

WOW Shocked

I'd probably go up that high, but I agree what others said about having that uncontrollable feeling in the back of your mind that for some reason makes you feel like jumping, or wondering what it would feel like Confused It's why I never went any closer than about five meters to the edge of the Grand Canyon when I visited it last year...

Gorgeous view! I drive across there everyday, looks a lot better from up there than the usual road level view! Though I don't envy you when this spell of nicer weather we're having ends...
