Thought it was about time I strayed from IE7, so I'm looking at Opera. This question may be a bit dumb, but I've looked on Opera's forums and can't find the answer. Embarassed

In IE7 when I open a new tab it's set to open my homepage on every tab. I can't see a setting to allow Opera to do it. It opens my homepage on the first tab, but subsequent tabs come up with a blank page, and I want it to open my homepage.

Any help ?

Hi

Not sure you can. Default for new tabs for me is the speed dial.

Opening my home page every time was one of the annoying default features of IE.

All the best

Keith

Cheers for the reply Keith.

If using IE7 you can change what it opens to blank page, or any page you want.

As I use iGoogle which has all my work bookmarks (Basically I open new tabs all day for different car part manufacturers catalogues) it would be better for me if it opens my home page on every tab. Oh well, every browser has it foibles I suppose.

Is Opera open source? If so I suppose someone might of done a mod to allow it.

Hi

Not open source, but they do changes if there are enough requests. I am still getting used to the speed dial as I expect (and was happy with) a blank page.

All the best

Keith
