Another newbie...

Hey...

My names Dave, i'm 21 and live down Brighton way. A month a go i'd never have considered biking.. but my friends just bought himself an R6 (and let me have a go on a private road), i now understand the attraction of motor bikes.. so anyway i've just started out on the long road to getting my bike licence.

I've just passed my theory test (just abouts). So i need to sort myself out a CBT and then some training for the D.A.S.

My dad's just given me his oldish (1983) Kawasaki GPZ550 (which needs a little work to get mot.. exhaust etc...) so i'll probably be spending a lot of my spare time getting her ready for her test..

P.S. Has anyone had any experience with these 5 day intensive courses (Day one cbt, Day 2; 500cc bike etc day 5 test) and if so does anyone know a good one in the West Sussex area?

I don't know if they're good at the 5 day ones, but I did my CBT in worthing, at sussex rider training on Saturday. I think my dad did a 5 day course there, will speak to him. But the guys down there seemed cool, and they're really down to earth as well, not as I imagined they'd be.

I've never been on a DAS course so can't help you there.
