Hi, I'm newish to the world of mechanics.
I have trouble finding neutral on my hyosung gt125. I've also started missing gears on my up changes occasionally. Is this likely to be a loose clutch cable? Anything else it could be? ____________________ current: ducati monster 750

is it a new bike? have you checked gear oil? it could be a problem with the clutch lever and cable, or the clutch plate (which i had to replace recently). ____________________ Hit the G spot. |

I ride a GT125r mine did it for a while while i was running it in and it was cold, it seems to be quite common until after the first service, i`ll maybe get a false neutral once a month after 10000 miles ____________________ Cbt-23/09/07.....Theory-16/09/08.....Das passed 10/10/08.....

kearnezconker the chinese bikes are known for poor build quality, if you can, get your money back on it and get an older proper CG125
If you cant, look after it well, and keep it well maintained. After reading your other post on the CBT it sounds like you wont be keeping the 125 long once you have done the DAS next year so you should be okay.
Anyways
AFAIK it should start when in gear if the clutch is in, probably a faulty switch, but i am not sure, if it is under warrenty take it back to the dealer.
Just for the record my mates Honda CG125 did the same thing, Honda sorted it, just said it was a clutch problem, not sure on anything more detailed than that though
As a helper for getting into neutral, just apply very slight pressure to the gear lever, it will pop up into neutral so you dont have to judge where it is.
Most bikes are a pain to get into neutral till you are used to them
And yes, i did copy and paste your name. ____________________ ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
