Not particularly - doesn't look like the bikes would be much worse really (may need a new lever here and there, but doubt they were going to be enjoying 'spirited' riding on the way home.)

well to be fair if they had used an ounce of sence then they wouln't have left the bikes leaning into the wind, if they just spent a few seconds to turn it arround then the side stand would have supported them a bit better Rolling Eyes

I pity the guy with the KTM who hung his and his pillion's helmet upside down for the 5 hours he must have been there in the rain. Neutral

Most likely, the bikes in our back garden used to fall over all the time because of the cover you had to take them off in the really bad weather.

To be honest though i think that the bad weather was expected - common sense would suggest you leave the bike at home if the tail end of a hurricane was even a small possibility......

Yeah, the wind completely changed 180 degrees mid way through the 125 race, one minute it was in their faces, the next it was behind them, so any it didn't get one way it got the other.

Saw a similar sight in moto x motorcycles in Oldham in the early eighties. Some punter trying a honda out for size overbalanced and a whole row of assorted cbx's fell over. Very Happy

most likely they wanted to show off their bikes, or it's just nice to ride to places.

I like the yeloow one propped up at the back, like he's leaning on the bike saying, "yeah I'm cool" al;l it needs now is a fag in its mouth Question

The CBR fell over in the wind couple of weeks back, come hoe to see a "horizontal Honda" Very Happy.

Popped the Indicator cover off, that was it, not even a scratch. Apart from the bar ends and crash shrooms that is.

Smile

Would u leave the bikes on their sides if u saw them or would u put them back upright on their stands?
Im talking if the wind had died down so it wouldnt happen again.
