As in title, just wondering what a reasonable carb service schedule would be on an average bike.

Never need to unless there is trouble with it, only ever had problems with one bike and that was a sticking float/needle valve.

If it aint broke don't fix it. Wink

If the choke works you won't need to check it.

If the idle speed it at the correct RPM it doesn't need adjusting.

I know it wasn't the question he asked, I answered his original question in the first post. As is there isn't one.

How can you adjust something if it doesn't need adjustment? https://img.photobucket.com/albums/v112/finglonga/Finglonga%20Inc/ne_nau.gif

There is not a reasonable carb service schedule, balancing yes but they are not stripped down and serviced on a schedule. That's why I said they don't need to be serviced.

How often should carbs be balanced then?

And what are the symptoms of carbs being unbalanced? Sorry for the thread hijack.
