fuck this i swear im gettin really sick of this bike now
thought i had the rs goin fine(despite the noise)
raced a golf gti off the line and for the first time since the new rings went in(about 170km ago) i went into the powerband and up to 11000, it felt great
only prob is when i tried to pull off from the next set of lights the thing felt like a push bike
NOW-its not fuckin pullin low down at all-before 8000 it is about as fast as a fuckin granny on a skateboard, i was gettin an easy 50mph goin to 7000 thru 1st,2nd,3rd at 3/4 throttle-now im gettin 25 goin full throttle up to 7000 in the first 3 gears
it takes about 4 secs to get to fuckin 7000 in first-fuck this shit, wish i got hte cbr250 i was lookin at now :(

170km is nothing sound like you have scrached the bore!! losing compresion,
U might need a re-bore and rings!
iv done the same thing next time im going to run it in for a good 500miles,

the top as u kept sayin was fine, and still is, the powerband is perfect as i found out-the rest isnt

Hi

Dylan is probably right. Sounds like the power valve has stuck open. This can happen if you are running round at low speed alot (the valve opens below 2500rpm so that it gets operated alot round town to try and prevent it happening).

Take the valve out and clean it up. It is also worth oiling the power valve solonoid, but should not be needed on a bike as new as yours. Also check the cable is free

i was running mine round for the first 300miles after a re-bore and cos it was low rph it got full of carbon, take it out for a nice hard blast and burns it all off Laughing
