Hi guys,

we're installing a new Exchange server over the coming weeks. As this will be a second server we need to think of a name for it.

Lucking we're not boring and sensible, so looking for something witty and non-offensive to call it.

Any suggestions?

Call it Royal_Mail, then install a program on it to randomly delete peoples emails, hold them up for days on end and deliver emails to the wrong people, it could shut itself down as well to go on strike! Thumbs Up

Ours, boringly, reflect their function.

Except for our disaster recovery server. Preston - created for good but turned out evil (wallace & gromit reference)

All the Linux ones at my uni are named after UK towns/cities, how dull.

Swindon, Bath, etc. etc.

Saw a greyhound called "Tony The Tap" in the paper a few weeks ago, that had me in stitches, and "Hank The Tank". Laughing

Why not call one Pirate and the other Ninja. Wink

Just call it something mundane, like Brian, or Barry, or Steve, Ken, you know, that sort of thing. Funny.

I wanted to call the cat Brian, but the boss wouldn't let me. Mad
