put some rear sets on the r6 yesterday and it changed the gearbox upside down (not literally)
cant say im too fussed for it, doesnt make it any easier or harder to ride, i imagine changing gear mid wheelie might be easier but seeing as i hardly wheelie anymore its no real use to me doing it.

i am however loving the new peg position! feels a lot more racy, and the angle of my foot to change gear is a lot steeper which i love compared to doing it flat footed.

My little brothers friend races in the Aprilia Thunder teens challenge, and he has a little road RS50 that he's bodged allsorts onto.

Its got one of his old 125 race engines in it now I think

But that had an USD gearbox, was actually a hell of a lot easier than expected when i had a little blast. i imagine after a few days it would become as natural as owt.

It's only the position of the linkage of the shift lever . . . It's a good anti-theft device leaving it like it is but don't let anyone ride the bike without telling them first.

I had it upside down on the MZ, felt really weird. It sucked having to think about every down change. Had to blip while clicking up, felt weird as hell.

No, rearsets don't have to make it like that. Some allow you to though. Not all.

My first geared bike, a YB100 was like that. It felt quite nice actually clicking up to change down into corners, but pressing down to shift up never felt right.

I must buy another one of those one day, it was great fun... Besides the brakes. And the handling. And the performance. And the looks. Besides that, though, I'd love another one!

Mine is setup 'Indian' style. It's easier changing up a gear cranked over on the left hand side as your foots not under the lever, giving you more ground clearance, also makes it easier changing up a gear while wheelieing (I can't really do it though)
