Wow! Car drivers can actually be nice! Due to some puddles on back roads car drivers had pulled up and let me by! I think there is a motoring god after all...and he likes me Smile

Don't speak too soon, i passed my CBT and bought a cbr 125, and within one week of going to work, i've had 2 women pull out on me and some numbnuts guy in a subaru nearly run me off the road, and he saw me clearly..

But there are other drivers who respect, also there's others who ride right up yer arse.

It tends to be ok up here really in lincoln, lots of drivers will pull over when i'm filtering past Thumbs Up

At the same time the occasional few will be sat right at the middle near the line, but that could just be the way they've learnt to drive.. in 2/3 litre cars.. Laughing

When my speedo cable had snapped and I was fiddling with the bike at the side of the road, in the absolute middle of knowhere. 10 miles in each direction from civilisation.

About 8 bikers in a group road passed, none of them pulled over, waved or looked at me.

An old guy about 80 in a MK1 escort, pulled over and asked if I needed a hand.

(Yeah it was only the speedo, I could ride it. Not all bikers are nice, not all car drivers are bad).

Of course there are nice car drivers, lots of people on this forum will drive cars too and therefore know what it's like to be a biker. Smile

Better than them turning the other way to stop you getting past and knocking you off. I always move over to let bikes past when I am in my car

Cant win, dont move some one is moaning, move some one moans!
