Tempted to get my bike set up on a dyno with a new K&N and dyno jet kit etc, now that I've got the micron on there.
What's the deal with dyno runs etc, do they include installing the jets and testing until we find the right size jets etc etc etc for the best setup?
I'd prefer it that way so I know it's 100% set up rather than buying an installing a dyno jet kit and finding it's not quite perfect.
Not sure that I'm going to bother until summer maybe, but would like to know the info if anyone can help. ____________________ Current Toys: 06 Yamaha WR250F | Nissan 350Z GT | Tech 4 Homes |

most places charge £100-£110 for the kit...and provided they buy the specific kit for your r6 (which they probably will) i find it very unlikely...the jets ect will be wrong, A race can be it micron or yoshimura doesn't cause a major change to the running of the engine....only a slight one, so i cant see you having a major problem.
my kit was £102, and my bike spent 2 hours on the rolling road etc..cost me £175 all together
but if your still unsure....give your local testing place a ring...there normally very help full.
hope that help mate.

Never realised it cost that much to be honest. I'm definetly going to leave it until later in the summer and see how things go, but thanks for the advice, I had a /feeling/ the jets come in a complete kit with no problems as I've seen factory jet kits on Ebay etc etc.
Thanks again craig. ____________________ Current Toys: 06 Yamaha WR250F | Nissan 350Z GT | Tech 4 Homes |
