Do any of you have any experiences of Hood bike jeans? They are supposed to be reinforced with some stuff to protect the areas most likely to get damaged.
Have any of you guys ever worn / seen a pair Question

If you have, do they look O.K and / or what do they feel like? I really cant afford a pair of leathers at the moment and those textile ones make me look fatter than I already am, and I want to be able to fit through that little gap between cars!

If you buy any Hood Jeans, let me know what you think as I have been looking at them recently as I think they look pretty good.

I have a pair. I've crashed in them, they work. They look just like normal jeans, so no probs there, and they have kevlar all over the inside.

Their sizing is pretty generous, so bear that in mind when you order some.

The only weak point in them that I've found in 3 years of riding is the fly zip. Mine gave up the ghost after about 18 months, so I cut it out and replaced it with buttons.

Where abouts can I find a set of those, and what kind of price do they run at?

Confused I was dubious about 'em myself. I prefer the security i feel in my leathers, but then I fell off in normal jeans at 30 mph bumping my bike when I was younger and my knees still ache from time to time, not to mention looking quite nasty, but women like scars or something right! he he.

Yeah, well if any of you buy a pair, let me know! I won't be buying any for about a month anyway, but I was just doing a bit of research now!

I've been thinking about getting some of this gear as well. Only problem is I'm one of those really awkward people who cant fit into anything right Sad
Anyone know some shops etc. where these retail at so I can try before I buy?
