I went to a Giant ASDA last night and as i was leaving a guy from londonbikers.com happened to pull up, in the course of the conversation it came up that about 10 meters from us was a mint RS125, covered, chained, alarmed, owned by one of the ASDA workers,
So as i started my bike (Picture underground/multistorey carpark) nothing, then every time i blipped the trottle his alarm would sent out the warning beeps, made me chuckle.
Do any BCF'ers reguarly accidentally or not set of car/bike alarms in such a mannor?
As to the science behind it would i be near the mark in saying its just the sound vibrations, consentrated in this case, triggering his sensitive alarm?
(For the record i havent got a stupidly loud can, just a nice meaty Blue Flame) |

When I had my SV with its full race system I pulled up outside the local tyre place and set off the car alarm of one of the guys working there. I guess I only noticed it as I was parking up at the time - it wouldn't surprise me if I'd set a few off whilst riding past them but without noticing. Quite fun. ____________________ Photos and that |

I've set off car alarms quite a few times. My mate with a 996 with Termis set off an Impreza at the weekend with the worlds most ridiculous alarm, we were falling about laughing ____________________ Suzuki GSX-R750K4 ~ Mivv GP |

I took my can off my 50 (two stroke) was the loudest, most annoying sound I have ever heard. Made a small girl cry when I took it for a spin ____________________ ***Previous: GPR50, FZ750 *** Current: Monkey bike, yella SV 650 ***

Not to my knowledge, also I wouldn't be surprised if the mille did. That was always a good one for scaring pedestrians. ____________________ My Flickr |

bahahaha....
So i get out of the office, stick the key in and warm the bike up while i put my gear on.
Get ontp the motorway, i'm in 2nd about 6k rpm and roll off the throttle flick the kill switch and flick it back, i hear a muffled pop.
OK, try again, 3rd gear, must've been about 8-10k rpm, roll off kill it and wait a little longer, flick it back....
Holy shit, what was that!?!?!...
Cue massive uncurable screaming laughter, drop to 2nd and repeat.
I don't think i got out of 3rd gear all the way home, this can't be good for the bike... But how i laughed! |
