Narrowing my bike choice down and have 2 candidates left.

Really like the repsol but worried it will attract too much attention so to speak.

Your thoughts please.........

I'd definitely say go for the one in better condition and most reasonable price, however if they are both in good condition I prefer the Repsol scheme.

Why do you think the Repsol scheme would attract more attention of the Police?

Red one is the best condition and needs nothing done has tax mot for 12 months etc but is £1295

Repsol needs new rear tyre, indicator and some cosmetic work but is £900

I thought the Repsol scheme screams speed freak puppy / kitten killer Twisted Evil

The red is more discreet

I think you're getting a little overecited about it TBH .

It's not that OTT not like the repsol scheme is a one off or anything.

I always worry about why they had it resprayed and what other damage may have been done. if its a standard colour scheme then I still prefer the black and red. Very Happy

Only thing is it doesn't have an alarm / immobiliser so had a look and found this

seems to good to be true so probably is. how much is it to get a insurance recognised alarm / immobiliser fitted ?

from insurance quotes ive had in the past even an insurance rated alarm isnt worth the extra you will pay for it. get a cheaper alarm as a deterant and that should be enough.

the red one IMHO

i like steel frame CBRs but the repsol one is trying to be something that it isn't, if you see what i mean

I'd be wary of any race rep scheme to be honest, it seems any repsol honda or rizla suzuki has only ended up that way as a result of a spill.

Insurance coughed up just in the nick of time.
Only down side is that because its last minute its going to cost me 36 quid for the train just to get from reading to bristol !
