I bought some Buffalo winter gloves for about £30 and am not particularly impressed. My fingers still get bloody freezing. Anyone know any better ones so I never have to resort to getting heated grips?

I personally use cold killers inner gloves. These are great as they stop all of the wind etc so keep you're hands nice and toasty.

I bought some gericke gloves and they're much better than the cheapo summer gloves I have. Still get cold hands though. I don't think any gloves stop it completely. I did invest in those oxford grips that velcro round your bars and they helped alot. I've found it not to be very cold lately though and I've not really used the heated-grips at all. Was out with the said summer gloves last night riding all night till 2am. Maybe I've just got used to the cold now though.

Have to say i've used a pair of summer gloves through both this winter and the last. Both times said to myself, must get winter gloves for next winter!!! Still havnt got any, can never find any that are rated very highly and that i like that are around the £40 mark, always end up liking the £99 pair that i cant afford!!

With summer gloves i always found that my hands were numb after 5 mins so i wasnt bothered about how cold it was. Used to hurt if they warmed up to quickly though. I doubt it was doing my hands any good though!

I've got some Spidi H2OUT things, they've been quite good. This is the second winter I have used them and they have started to pack down a bit and the ends of my fingers get a bit cold. I've used them through a few fair old downpours too and they have never leaked.

I was also wearing them when I crashed last Feb and my right hand was crushed between the car and bike. I put my hands down when I slid along the road but only received a bruise on my index finger nail from the car and the gloves only suffered a slight mark in the material.

I got them from the now defunct motorcyclebob for about £40 on a special. I will probably look for some more next winter.

I recently bought some Quadrant WP Gloves made by Spada
https://www.bbbikeshop.co.uk/acatalog/quadrantwp_glvs.gif.

Cheap and chearful at 29 quid. I actually got them for 25 after some smooth talking Wink . These gloves are recommended by MCN, which is what made me pick them out. My finger tips still get a little cold, though not as numb as they used to

I brought some buffalo thermal inner gloves, these made a big difference under my summer gloves, especially from the wind chill.
Only cost about a tenner from J&S.

Have been using bellstaff patrol gloves for the last year or so, can ride for an hour usually before they get really cold (and this is in 3°C on the motorway sort of riding) they wont let your hands get wet either... heated grips help but don't completely solve the problem, still end up with a cold thumb and little finger... Might get some hand guard shrouds...
How about some bar muffs ? Wink
