just wonder what people use when their bike is out and about.....

for a quick nip to the shops?

for going round a friends house?

for going to work?

etc.....

i know the sensible thing is to take the top security devices you own all the time....but i just wonder how many people actually do?

I got a Meta which I set all the time, and thats all I'll use to go to the shops or a mates. But when my bike is out the back of where I work I stick a chain on it. Just in case. Thumbs Up

I have a datatool s4 alarm on mine which is ample for me for when I go to work, uni or round a mates. If i'm staying at a mates or going to be leaving my bike in a public carpark i'll chain it up too just for that extra peace of mind.

I tie my pet crocodile to the forkleg.

But usually I just take my Monster chain & disclock which goes under the seat, either chain it to something or to itself if there's nothing solid closeby, always chain it, as the one time you don't is the time it'll get nicked.

Disc locks, front and back, pretty much everywhere. Was going to go for chains originally, till i read the reviews where it took them less than a minute to bust the chains off, apart from one, i think, that lasted 3 or 4 minutes.

Have a Spyball too, haven't had time to fit it yet.
