wait until you have to make a caliper bracket to accomodate the bigger disc!!

Theres not much info out there on fitting different wheels onto DT's hence I chose to get dt125x wheels instead and save all the hassle.. a definate bolt on just needs a caliper mounting bracket with stock forks or get the dt125x forks which are £££ btw!

disc/sprocket alignment and sprocket ratio's is your worst nightmare.. Also you need to consider a front wheel that has the disc on the left side! also you'll prob end up losing your speedo too..

the dtx rear bolts straight on no problem. uses same rear hub and the disc/spocket are the same size/number of teeth. front wheel is a little different since its a different hub and a bigger disc. the speedo drive is different too. If you try and fit one on a standard dt forks you'll need to make a caliper mount and you can use the original single pot caliper or use the twin pot brembo caliper from the dtx. Or to save all that hassle just buy the dtx caliper and forks and then keep the speedo.. You could prob get the wheels/forks/caliper for less than the price of rebuilding standard hubs on excels (£400ish!)

basically either way be prepared to open your wallet!

i got lucky... dtx wheels+disc's+tyres £125, dtx brembo caliper £35, caliper mount bracket = free by my engineering mate (access to CNC machine Mr. Green)

TBH just find someone breaking dtx's and get the wheels, forks and caliper.. All bolts right on!
