No i dont get bored, i just get tired. I could ride all day long. Usually after 200 miles i need a break.

When i had my little 50, i never got bored, i just got so jealouse of bigger bikes that i didnt want to ride a 50 no more.

No because I go on different types of road to vary what I am doing and also ride with different sized bikes, so that I can go at different speeds.

Just explore and find different roads around you. Go out of the town and find some country lanes to bimble on.

Fuck yeah, but that's only because the main portion of my riding is commuting, and it's such a crap journey with not one single good bit of road. Give me some country lanes to get to work with and i'll have no problem getting up for work!

I do on a 125 on a duel carriageway. YAWN! so i take the backroads which are more interesting. But I feel it a sin at the mo in my situation to call biking boring as I havnt been on one in months. Oh I will not be calling it boring when I do in Feb 09. And I am even getting some new wheels.

Years ago when I had a 125's on L plates I got bored with them because they seemed slow. But since I have had a few bigger bikes I realise they are not much better.

It is nice to have the extra power but as the roads are so congested nowadays it is rarely advisable to use it. Therefore I now have a hankering for an early KH125 again.

The good thing about 125's is you can use all of it's power, but on larger bikes you probably only use half of it normally. This makes 125's more fun I think.

To be honest i want a smaller cc motorbike for commuting/mucking about on, as thats way more fun than scaring myself to buggery on a high cc motorbike.

Often been bored, both with the bike I have owned and with riding in general. Its easy to get caught up in the idealistic chase of the next bigger and better thing. I got it with cars, always wanting something bigger and faster and better - that got really expensive, so I moved to bikes and found that they are too getting bigger and faster and more expensive.

For the riding part, I found the SV very boring and wanted something else the whole time I was on it. The hayabusa can be a bit boring sometimes too cos its just so effortless when bimbling about and takes very little input to keep it going.

If I could give you any advice it would be to try not and focus on whats coming next and enjoy what youve got. Think the most fun I ever had was on my little RS125, but the green eyed monster made me get a 600cc sportsbike!!

Yep, whenever i go touring i come back to the UK and just have this massive anti climax, i realise how shit the UK is for riding.

Poor roads, too much traffic and jobs worth police, and thats just the begining the weather sucks too.

Thats why im selling the RSV and getting an RX8 Wink

Same here, since June I haven't really been bothered with my bike as I know the roads aren't anywhere near the level as they are abroad. However, I've made a conscious effort in the last few weeks to find a few new routes and I seem to be getting back into the swing of things... Smile

Not really. I'm amassing a nice collection of bikes now, suitable for any mood I might be in. Most of the time, well, lately, I just fancy plodding around minding my own business.

Does anyone know where I can get HRC sponsored pipe and slipper sets?

See im not sure if im bored or not, maybe i need to learn how to ride a slow bike fast! Been riding my cbr fairly hard today feel like i am getting faster. I'd really like to get a faster bike to make it easier to go but at the same time i think i can ride the cbr faster if i get my technique right.
