The Punisher was probably my favorite Marvel film out, i thought it was pretty raw and not all show. The main guy, cant think of the name, pulls it off pretty well.
Maybe this is a different director?

It is I think. But the original guy wasnt....hardcore enough for the majority of the fans apparently, and this director wanted to stay more true to how brutal the comics are. However, cant see much storyline with this one, whereas the comic I know always had a good thread.

I agree, the first punisher film was ace, a lot of emotive stuff, and the actor was ace for the part.

I think he played a good transition, from family man (massive build up) to going out for revenge.
I loved the assasin from the south who came into the cafe, good scene

Most definitely....it ALMOST didnt fit the film though, you know what i mean?


Seemed too...classic to be in a movie like that.
But it just ended up fitting, brilliant scene tbf.

The russian was just shits and giggles, with the music etc

I think the scenes were very comic book which is great, i thought it was going to be a lot different.
I think the casting etc was brilliant with an original movie soundtrack.

He was flashbacking to his dead kid, wife and family probably. Revenge innit.
