Personally i would go for a bigger bike and restrict.
When i returned to biking 2 years ago, i got a Gn 250 and then a ZZR 250. Both i found not so good to ride. Both were sub £1K.
Changed to a XJ600 and its so much better. OK its not restricted, but its so much more stable to ride and costs less to run....
Including the Ins. ____________________ Just because my bike was A DIVVY, does not mean i am...... |

Probably the training school hes with, just to give an idea of the actual format of the test, and to see if you are ready and confident.
Good luck for tomorrow Wisenerl! What time do you kick off?

Yes exactly right, the school just runs you through one, I went through an unmarked crossroads at 25 mph must remember *test riding, not normal riding*
Its at 12.05pm, forecast is to be rain so hard its going to hurt, traffic will be moderate around the route at that time. ____________________ Current - 2007 Suzuki Bandit GSF1250 - 1999 Suzuki TL1000R

Ah, not so bad! Hope the rain holds off for you! Although, i have heard that on the e. stop that they are more leanient for obvious reasons in the rain. Shouldnt be a problem though. Got mine on the 27th 'Tis a half-term though, so im hoping for moderate traffic too at 2:45pm.
All the best buddy! ____________________ 1980 Suzuki TS50 ~ 1984 Honda CB400N ~ 1992 Triumph Trident ~ 1998 Suzuki Bandit 1200 |

If your set on a 250 the best looking one is a Honda VTR 250 imo, 32bhp Honda V-twin. Learner-Tastic I say.
