Not having much luck on getting anything like a definitive answer. Without much further probing, can I just ask you kind folk.
Got a 550w antec NeoHE PSU.
Got 1HD, 1DVD Drive, Athlon 3700 standard HSF, 2GB Ram, couple of USB HD's, 4 120mm case fans, 1 80mm case fan.
Do I have enough power to comfortably whack a 8800 GTS/X in there?
I would assume yes, as I hardly have a lot of hardware running, but was more after a link/site where I could scientifically put an answer together.
Cheers. ____________________ So in other words, he stopped you for being flagrantly in posession of a motorcycle in direct contravention of the Hippies, Darkies and People Whose Face I Don't Like The Look of (Police Powers) Act. 1976 |

Yeah easy. HTH. ____________________ Be careful whose advice you buy, but, be patient with those who supply it. Advice is a form of nostalgia, dispensing it is a way of fishing the past from the disposal, wiping it off, painting over the ugly parts and recycling it for more than it?s worth. |

the PSU has modular connectors, some split into two's, three's or four's to plenty of scope for most configs.
Thanks a lot for the advice folks! ____________________ So in other words, he stopped you for being flagrantly in posession of a motorcycle in direct contravention of the Hippies, Darkies and People Whose Face I Don't Like The Look of (Police Powers) Act. 1976 |
