i have a yamaha aerox 50cc, i have recently bought a leo vince tt exhaust and fitted it. But when i pull away the engine lags until i reach 30mph when it then work properly!
does any1 know why this is and how to fix it??

you will lose bottom end with an upgraded exhaust....... but.......
have you upped the main jet and fiddled with the needle yet?

they are not 'plug and play' items Wink

Sounds like rollers to me. Try a lighter rollers.

It sounds like it's engaging a too higher gear ratio.

Did you get any with the exhaust?

Yeah I agree with Chives, probably rollers...

But you should check to see if it is running lean/rich, and then change the jet accordingly, less likely to blow it up then.

Clutch springs fellas..clutch springs. Rolling Eyes Either that or rollers if you havent already changed them (actually you shouldnt of even fitted the pipe if you dont know to change rollers and springs aswell) or it could be jetting. Confused

had a similar problem with my peugeot speedfight and found the cause being wrong weight rollers and clutch, check the abrasion pads on the clutch are not glazed. Thumbs Up

increase the size of the mainjet by about 2 sizes

put in 5g rollers, normally you need to play around with the weights to get it perfect

i dont think it wil be clutch springs as the tt makes its power low down, but still fitting a stiffer set of springs will only cost a tenner for the springs and make a nice differnce to the pull off
