Last Saturday I rode from Glasgow down to Hartside to meet up with the guys from the TDM club on their annual September weekend get together. Half the group went up into the borders for a run. The other 11 of us ( 9 TDMs , a 1250 Bandit and a TRX )went from Hartside into the Lakes.
I've never been before. The scenery and the roads were stunning.
Loads of first gear uphill hairpins !! And the weather fine. It stayed dry all day until about 7 pm when I hit south Lanarkshire on the way back up.
A great day out , I'll be back to the lakes.
