Has anyone done the above course or anything similar? If so what opinions do you have of it, is it worth it?
Any feedback welcome, cheers.

I've done Bikesafe and I would recommend it.

Only runs in the summer months though, well it does up here.

Do you mean the response riders course?

One of my friends just completed it, says his riding has never been better.

im not being funny here but this is a course to get on the dsa list of approved post test instructors, good luck to the guys who have had there instructors course accreditted by the dsa there are a lot of hoops to jump threw to get it done but its a complete waste of time and money the take up by current instructors to get on the post test register is dissmal and doesnt need a course first to do it.

you dont need to attend a course to get on the post test trainers list any way as long as your an approved DAS instructor all you need to do is take and pass a theory test then pay the DSA a large sum of money for a longer than usual so called advanced test etc then your on the register, you pay an annual fee to keep on the register and thats it.

the post test register was open free of charge at first to all existing DAS instructors/advanced instructors as long as you paid a registration fee and annual fee, i like most of the instuctors i know didnt bother and wont be bothering the DSA have tried there best to completly screw the motor bike training industry up with there botched attempt to introduce the new bike test why would any one want to get involved in there attempt to control and ruin advanced bike training.

yes i know its unregulated any one with a bike license can set them selves up as an advanced instructor but the DSA are not the ones to trust to regulate advanced training.

rant over as i said good luck to the guys who have jumped to the DSA tune, by the way what was it you were after exactly ????

Well said and spot on Thumbs Up

The DSA were at one point looking to get all their examiners tested to advanced standard.

I was appointed the advanced examiner along with a few other guys around the country, and the standard was so poor that by the time we had failed about half a dozen of these so called test examiners, DSA pulled the plug.

So they went their own sweet way and saw it as a means to make more money on the basis that they are the testing authority and no one is in a position to question them.

Hence the reason I did not sign up to the Post test trainer register either, and yet the DSA have asked me if I will register the City and Guilds instructor qualification (which I am responsible for) with them.

Short answer? No! Mr. Green
