well after 8 months of messing around with the engine and getting the bike all fixed up as most of you have probly seen my threds....

Well iv just took it for its MOT and this is why it failed Evil or Very Mad

Because they arnt E-marked.

looks like im gona have to pay yamahas rip of prices nd pay the £300 for a Front frame, headlight mount, headlights

E-Marked Twin Headlights
If you're feeling really tight get the single one, don't know how you'd centre it though.

Thumbs Up You'll need some brackets if you don't have some already

Put them on for the MOT then swap back to the Alien ones afterwards

You could just buy a crappy second hand headlight off ebay for a pittance and put it on your forks with those clamps I posted for the purpose of the MOT. Maybe even attach it with cable ties Laughing

well im a 16 year old student with not much money...

not after the new crank, clyinder, piston 2 sets of piston rings, coil pack, stator plate, new oil seals and bearings...

has any1 purchest a front frame for a bike in the past, how much did it cost? iv never seen one for a tzr 50 on ebay befor..

think i should buy an R6 front frame and headlights??

My old Honet got failed because the shitty headlight was attached with cable ties

Crap huge headlight off of a 1980s Jap bike 2nd hand off of eBay and some scraggy clamps.

Pretty isn't part of the MOT standard.

tape them up and get a daylight MOT. all they have is "for day light use only" on the advisory notice. the police will never know. i have done it with mine coz it isnt legal. it will save you paying money.

Yeh, the man at the MOT place said he could do that for me, but since i dont finish work and collage till after 5 sometimes , and with it getting darker earlier i woudlnt have much time to ride.
