Bloke at my work had one of these that he said cost him a fiver and was accepted the majority of places that accept student cards.

Couldn't find them for less than £7 myself, so far.

Any one had any experiences with these? Quite a few cases where a student card can be useful.

Oh right I see Laughing

The only time I've used my student ID card was to get cheap entry into a night club and they said they had to ask me for 'date of birth' ID as I'd shown them a student ID, I'm 28! and I only got about 40p off the entry price, so I haven't bothered using it since.

If memory serves it's the international version, so it is more likely to be accepted abroad in places.

The one i had back in my first college for discounts and that was from

https://cards.nus.org.uk/buy/default.aspx
NUS.

Although apparently alot of places are stopping you let use student cards due to credit crunch etc we are being told.

Have to actually be a student to get a NUS card, I believe.

Seems STA travel is the place to get them from and they've just put their prices up.

Ta all.
