I really couldn't be fucked to iron it, just threw it on, and before you get a tat you get shaved in the area Razz

Probably going to get the stars covered at some point.

That'll be Sanchez, she's a very timid northern pine snake. She's the reason I'm no longer shit scared of snakes!!

I have no more pics of my other tats, I have another tribal on my right shoulder, and my wifes name through a rose on my left. A bit ghey, but I got a proper good shag for it so it was worth it!!

There's nothing wrong with tribal, it's just seriously common down here, usually the men who have them take steroids and wear tight white tops with the tribal going from there shoulder downwards, although yours do look nice and must have fucking hurt somewhat Shocked

i'm thinking of getting donington on my other wrist Laughing might give it a couple of years though.

Give the Donnington one a bit longer, think their changing the foggy esses for F1, how unfashionable would your tat be then!!!

I have seen a few nut heads with heavy tribal, but I just can't help liking it! It does hurt, but mine is all the narrow stuff so it doesn't take too long to do, it's the inch wide stuff that properly rags apparantly.

Tribal. It is all shit. Generic rubbish.

Some pics of mine are on assorted other threads, will get some pics once the sleeves are finished.

Mostly. Got a couple of tribal pieces. The one I dislike is a small generic peice which I'm getting covered up at some point. Had one drawn freehand on my chest which I like a lot. Lots of shading rather than solid black but it's also part of another tattoo rather than a stand alone peice. But the small peice that I dislike may as well have been a freebie with cereal.

Tribal on the whole was cool before the entire world jumped on it and f*cked it up.

The worst tattoos ever? Football stuff and those sh1te scorpions on forearms.

Trouble with tattoos is the most of people who have them are hated by the tattooists. Laughing

You are more than entitled to an opinion, but both my tribal were drawn one off. I don't like just picking one off the board and having it put on me, I likee MY tats to be uniqely MINE.

Obviously, nearly all tribal looks similar, if not identical to some, but no one has the same one as me as I drew it and had it tattooed on me.

Can't deny I like it, even the 'generic' stuff, suppose it's just personal taste.

Thanks for the comment. Friend of a Friend did it, he doesn't have a shop as such (well, he might do now, I dunno!) although did use a tattoo premise for doing it - it was pretty much free hand after he got some initial lines down which was slightly disconcerting but it was a fantastic experience.

I'm certainly not criticising the tribal stuff however it was fantastic to watch a real artist at work as opposed to seeing someone purely transfer an 'out of the book' template onto a willing participant. I'd imagine people like robby (if you've seen his sleeves on BCF/in person) get tattoo's for a different reason than the majority i.e. Artwork -v- Fashion Accessory.

Care to start the debate rob? Wink

I get my tattoos to pick up little chinese girls mostly, and because I like the colours. And I like studio ghibli, hence a large proportion of me being coloured in with scenes from ghibli films.

But mostly because of the chinese girls.
