Just a little rant.

Been watching road wars as it's good watching numptys get arrested for being twats but just saw this 10 minute section on bikers and it was showing some sensible riding hardly any hooning and calling perfectly safe overtakes suicide.

Yes there were some idiots overtaking stupidly/poor observation e.t.c but its the way they just decide to tar everyone with the same brush.

It's as if they just want more of the public to think "oh there goes another stupid tw*t on a motorbike"

Takes the fucking piss.

It all started with James Dean, AHEM, Marlon Brando, 'bikers are cool because their all bad' was all that his movies said.

People don't think bikes are all bad these days, no more than they think all remotely kitted up saxo's and corsa's are chavvy muppets.

Don't get me wrong, I hear the "bikes are dangerous" but I simply reply"what have they ever done to you? How does one hurt you st there doing nothing?" They're only dangerous when you get some lunatic riding it. Not had a response to that claim yet.

It's only old and mis-informed people that keep the stereotypical remarks alive. I never have a problem with bikes/bikers or being seen/considered as part of the "group"(for want of a much, much better term). And all chicks love 'em so im good. Cool

I'm not chavvy old fella, I don't own a car at this point in time and haven't driven a car commonly tarnished a "hot hatch/chav-mobeel". Cool

I don't think a Corvette falls inside my budget, much as I'd love to drive one. Drooling .

Oddly enough, the latter is available a little cheaper than the former, though are actually quite hard to find these days!

well its nothing new for the bbc to be feeding us propaganda to try and get them on there side.

there was an article recently that I read that Ofcom were investigating the BBC as the government having too much control of what they were showing and how they showed it.

https://www.express.co.uk/ourcomments/view/55383

they spend millions of pounds our money in trying to manipulate what we think when really they should spending the money in making changes to the problems that we have.

All of the "observational documentaries" the BBC and others show are propaganda mouthpieces. Road Wars (and their ilk), Airport (and their ilk), Booze Britain, Undercover Customs, UK Border Patrol, and so on and so forth. The dead giveaway is the presence of the narrator's opinion. Evil or Very Mad They got the idea from America, with their hideous, "Hi, I'm Sheriff John Bunnell... this criminal thought he was riding a racing car, but now he's riding to jail!" World's Wildest Police Chases - for all North American values of the term "world".

Yet there are more of the bloody shows cropping up every month. I mean there's even a "Booze Britain in Spain" (or similarly named), for heaven's sake - Britons behaving badly abroad. There must be a market for it.
