Was washing the bike and noticed the tyres were slightly perished, do they need changing ?

don't look like there's much tread left anyway...

i'd be inclined to leave it till the tyre is down to the limit and then get it changed.

Cracking on the sidewalls is an MOT fail so yes, change it.

One of the things that I keep a close eye on are my tyres. If the sidewalls are cracking you should be getting them replaced immediately - you don't want them to give suddenly whilst riding (especially if you are quite a way from home/a garage that actually has the right tyres in stock).

As was mentioned above, the treads look like they're very worn so you may as well get them replaced now - especially with autumn/winter weather on the way. Also a very high number of tyres fail within the last 10% of tread.

Finally, make sure you check your tyre pressure very regularly as wall cracking and failure is often accellerated by under pressured tyres. Remember that a tyre has a natural pressure loss of just under 3psi (0.2bar) every 3 months. that's without external influences - such as riding.
