Well. I'm near Enfield. Need to go down to Edenbridge, Kent.

It's about 10 miles south of the M25. Went to look at a bike today and need help transporting it back. May also need to to Wandsworth on the way back then back up to Enfield.

Bike transport can even be bought via eBay for £50 or £60 and they can be arranged for 7 days a week.

Whats the bike?

Not sure if the word mint should be used in the description of the bike but its your first proper bike so go ahead.

A painted frame should have slight alarm bells going.

Not sure I'd pay a grand for a SORN bike with no fairings.

Gonna say that isn't mint. Mint would be like it has just come out of the factory. The word mint is used to describe bikes in wrong ways quite a lot.

Bet it will still be good fun to hoon around on.

Get him to tax and mot it, it makes a bike a lot more salable. If he won't MOT it ask why? Could be that he has tried and it failed?

I'm not rushing into it. Just seeing if I can even get it back before offering for it Wink

He said the frame was 'stone enameled'. It was seriously mint though. Engine bay was spotless. Exhaust was like new. Low mileage was nice also.

The guy said he restores bikes. Had several Triumphs in his garage.

Thumbs Up

I might be able to do something next Saturday if I'm down that way for Gingers; however that seems fairly unlikely at the moment (got a Hare and Hounds on Sunday).

I doubt Enfield to Edenbridge is one hour, and Edenbridge to Enfield via Wandsworth definitely isn't.

Why Wandsworth? I didn't realise we had a date... Wink

i reckon a mint orignal looks better then the tygas, the fronts not as nice on the after market ones and the rear light looks like a touch, look at craig vfr, it looks way better now then with the fairings that came on it
