You know they were put little electric gizmos on our bikes to monitor us by satellite if they could. We may look back at this as the golden age..... but I hope not.

What the fuck is Ken thinking? Shocked Evil or Very Mad

I know what I'd do if somebody put up a high powered radar emitter outside my house, chop it down and cart it down to the bloody landfill. And a 20mph limit - what the fuck? I can cycle faster than that! I really hope they are joking, he's got a reputation for hating cars/biks but this is taking the piss.

Probably not a lot, as there will not be any taxi drivers left to ferry him round if they go even more mad with cameras (he gets thousands of pounds a year on expenses to cover his taxi fares, including taking a taxi to the labour party conference).

They don't like humps as they are now getting bad press, with the head of the London ambulance service saying that delayed response times due to humps kill far more people than they save on the roads.

All this for 3.75% of road accidents. Wonder when they will bother doing anything about the other 96.25% of accidents which are not caused by speed in excess of the speed limit.

All the best

Keith

You know this is probably just a way of driving people onto public transport to cover the fuckup that has been made of it. Make cars/bikes so expensive/unfun, nobody uses them (and make allot of cash while your at it).

Also speed humps are technically non-environmental friendly, due to the fact you have to keep stopping and starting, which is pushing out more and more emissions, we all know cars and bikes run at lower fumes when at a constant speed.

Anyone fancy telling Green Peace, and everywhere else this see if we can get a protest going Very Happy

The same stop starting rule goes for speed cameras too... Bring on the tree huggers!

Plenty of them would probably be quite happy to have extra pollution as long as we went back to living in caves, and knitting lentils into clothes.

All the best
