i remember once reading of an 18 year old who had only engaged in oral sex with a 15 year old and he got sentenced to something like 10 years in prison... and a 35 year old college lecturer caught naked in bed by the girls father gets off that lightly!

Not justifying what he did but if you read the story she was a week off her 16th and not a pupil at the College where he worked.
Seven days older and it would all have been legal.

It might not be wrong in the eyes of the law, but if he can't think if I get caught doing this my current profession is ruined, meaning he will be broke for a good few years.

Also being a teacher he is in a position of authority, and if he can't see that 'laying down next to an underaged girl while being naked' is wrong then, whats the difference with him viewing a 39 year old with even younger girls?

She obviously gave him consent and probably told him she was 16 (or older), if you were 39 and got offered some by a 16-18 year old you would jump on it! (Literally).

Losing his business and job is a punishment in it's self, if he raped her then fair enough but both given consent and both want to do it....whats the problem?
