Never seen this either before. So whats your local 'gang', no not the 5 10 year olds who hang outside a sweetshop asking for fags and intimidating you, thats not worth a mention. Laughing Im on about the actual people who will smash your head in, you know, the local 'ards'. For me its Leigh Park, but i know quite a few of them so im alright. Also the famous 'Botley Boys'. Anyone else? Thumbs Up

I live near Canning Town: proper old school East End gangster land.
But I have no idea who the local ruffians actually are.

I expect at some point that I shall unwittingly give someone a bit of verbal and discover (too late) that they're supposed to be some Grande Fromage on the manor.

Cue hellkat hanging with brick gumboots under the Thames Barrier. Rolling Eyes

But apparently somebody I know knows somebody who is Somebody.
Dunno who, but its useful to know these things, I suppose Laughing

Sometimes I think such people all really just need their heads banged together and told to grow up, actually.

Giving it "all that".
Why can't they act like normal people anyway.
I think a lot of it is about insecurity.

Have seen some 'tags' about for the YCV or Youth Combat Volunteers I believe, probably just some kids. Rolling Eyes

Don't see any real 'gangs' around here, just spides that like to get violent because they're mongoloids and then you've got the paramilitaries.

Any of the gang culture I see in england is just a load of wee dicks trying to be gangsta because they've seen some niggas doing it in america. Organised action needs to be taken against these shits to put them in their place.

I've got a mate who is in the biggest gang in the midlands.

They can give hassle to whoever they want, and no one with any sense will argue. They beat up who they want, they make loads of money.

Some call them 'The pigs', others just call them the police

You think worcester's boring, try living in malvern Laughing
There are a couple of head cases who live here, but definatley not any gangs - in fact probably the closest we get to a gang here is when we congregate outside my house just before a rideout - drinking tea, with the occasional gunshot (backfire) from Virus' bike.
Very intimidating we are Laughing

In Croydon we have the DSN (Don't say nothin).

Don't say nothing?

Ok, so that means say something?

I guess they do not always think these things through.

There seem to be less indigenous hard families than there used to be round my way, it's more dealer gangs now, who change depending on who the TVP are arresting at the time.

The latest scum are Yardies who live a few doors down, who i'm pretty sure are up to all sorts of no good (you get to recognise the signs).

Thought i was going to be stabbed by one of them the other night when i told him off for peeing over a neighbour's gate. He came up the stairs, getting more agitated as he got closer, shouting and swearing in that Jamaican way and i honestly thought i was up for a stabbin'.

Strangely though, i stood my ground and kept my cool and explained it was just disrespectful, and how would he like to find that the outside of his house stank of someone elses piss, and surprisngly, he calmed down fairly quickly, agreed it was disrespectful, then put his fist out and said 'Siaffe, blud'.

We banged fists in the traditional manner, as you do, and as far as i know he hasn't done it since.

Now i'm going to feel a bit easier about confronting him about him calling his tarty girlfriend (or 'employee'...) a fucking motherfcuking biatch and other various expletives at the top of his voice at 3.30 in the morning.

That's if they aren't all carted off for dealing and/or prostitution/benefit fraud/dealing in stolen goods and credit cards before then, anyway.

Who the hell thinks up these names? Do they have competitions at the local primary school to see who can come up with the easiest name to spell (then shorten it to initials).

Not something I'd shout about tbh, a couple of faggots who spent most of their lives in jail because they wanted to be famous and were to stupid to play the system, then ended up dying one alone in a nursing home the other in prison.

The 'ardest people i know are not the ones with the reputations for being a 'ganster' or 'ard man'. they know when things are necessary and when they are not.

I went out with a girl once who claimed her stepdad used to be head of a Leicester crim fraternity.
I always thought "naah, as if" until one night we got a lift from some very burley blokes in a merc s-class I shook hands with one and duely noted the hands the size of spades and a sovreign on pretty much each finger. I thought to myself then that she may have been telling some truth after all.
Later that night sitting in a bar he approaches me whilst i was sat down and offers his hand as if to shake mine as he's off... suddenly those sovreigns i was looking at earlier are making a lasting impression on my nose... don't remember much else apart from him flinging a table at my ex and being pinned by 3 bouncers after taking a chunk out of my mate who'd gone for him.
Suddenly I was in the bogs looking at a very bloody reflection of myself and thinking "ah, so she wasn't lying then". Whiskey is a good pain reliever by the way. Thumbs Up
Haven't seen her in about 2-3 years, organised crime aint my bag Wink
Gangs are for dik'eads, and I'm definitely not 'ard enough for em! Ah well!

In sunny Birmingham we have the ever infamous Burger Bar gang and the Johnson Crew, they've shot a few people you may have heard about.

I often hear wankers dribbling on about this or that other supposed 'crews', though the word crew would suggest a collective of perhaps 10 or more people, whereas I imagine the reality is that most of these crews consist of Dave, his cousin barry, some dude called Jerome and their pit bull.

More local to me a few years ago we had a gang who called themselves the 'ACC' or Anti College Clan, aptly named since they were all thick as pigshit, but used to go round in groups of 25-30 an beat up kids. A few friends had numerous run-ins with them over the years, ultimately ended up my mate breaking his telescopic over one of their faces, things seemed to calm down after that funnily enough haha. Thing is they give it all the mouth when in groups of 15-20, but when on their own they aint worth pissing on, now that I remember it my two pals collared one on his own after they vandalised a mates car, and this kid on seeing the size of these guys literally pissed his pants right where he stood.

Yeah blud, you'z well solid ennit star.

I've mixed in circles with people in the more notorius groups I mentioned at the top, but I stopped going out with them as I realised it was ultimately going to result in something bad happening.

So yeah, gangs are bad m'kay.

I live about 2 miles if that from Botley.

Mate of mine got randomly punched whilst walking through there at night [not a small lad, either] when asked what football team he supported and obviously said the wrong response. Rolling Eyes

'tis all getting a bit pikey now.

There are several "gangs" around Reading and some more "mini-gangs" consisting of asbo idiots.

They seem to resemble pack animals in the wild. Group together for collective protection and fight for dominance of the pack. This "fight" usually consists of who is able to stay upright longest with their jeans hanging lowest round their arse.

If separated from the pack they will generally take of like a gazelle on steroids leaving a urine trail which the pack uses to locate the threat Smile

HaHa, lived there for just over a year.

Infact that was the first place I lived when I moved down this way from the north east.

I vowed never to live there again - Malvern the town where you find no one between the ages of 16 - 60, thats cos the escape at 16 and come back at 60 to die!
