Is the current paintwork tatty? You'll be making the bike worth less by painting it in non-original colours. I'd personally leave it unless it's proper tatty.

Dude you can't be serious Confused It's F&*kin yellow Very Happy

I vote for any colour....just change it and change it now

Olive Drab and Matt Black.

Or maybe a more Urban Camo look.

no offence but is it worth it? unless you can get it done cheap i doubt you'll add more value, even keeping stock colours.

up to you, but me i wouldn't bother.

if you can do stuff yourself do something wild Smile

Repainted bike suggests crash damage - I'd be inclined to look for a trade in of a less *sudden* colour.

Horrid as it is some people do like bright yellow - and it is highly visible which appeals to anyone who had a SMIDSY.

For a bike that age I'm not sure how much a paintjob will decrease the value, so long as it looks good. Maybe it would on something a little more sought after but a gsx? Nah.

You could always have it resprayed to a standard colour for that year and model, i.e not yellow but one of the other colours for that year.

well when i looked behind the fairing i found that one side was blue and the other was red so it looks like the previous owner must have crashed it at some point and rebuilt it and sold it on and the mot testing station confirmed that the frame and forks are ok and not damaged. to be honest im still wondering why the last owner decided to do the bike in bright yellow
