Good news
Shame it's shite supermarket fuel though. Hopefully other retailers will follow suit. Should of happened a long time ago as barrel prices have been on the downturn for a while. ____________________ Current: ZZR1400

Waaahey, aren't we lucky, bargain price of just £1 per litre!!!
Thank you Gordon Brown, you're not such a wanker really.
Now we also need diesel to go back to being cheaper than petrol, another 20p or so off petrol, and then they can start doing something about the road tax. |

Yeah ... wot Ste said.
Be good when they get it down to something *reasonable* where we're not actually being fucked up the arse for buying petrol, practically more than everybody else in the world.
Death and destruction to all capitalist bastard pigdogs!
Bring the government down!
Burn real life effigies of ALL religious leaders!
Make voodoo dolls of all "celebrities"!
Install Siggi as PM...
maybe not ...
Whatever. ____________________ Not nearly as interesting in real life. |

I think this was the governments idea...
To put it so far over a pound so when it eventually drops to under a quid we will be satisfied where as 5 years ago this would have been extortionate.
I know it's not the government directly affecting the prices but if people are happy with a quid then they will be happy as its more than they were getting a year ago.

£17.50 instead of £20
OFC everyone has less money to spend so it's not any cheaper relative to the state of the economy. |

Well i bet that good ole GB ain't too impressed that its taken the supermarkets to cut the prices..... All that money he's just laid out and now he's losing alll that tax.....
Whats the betting that the Gov wacks 2p a ltr tax on now that they defered due to high price....
Still lower fuel is one thing. The supermarkets will just whack a couple of P on bread or milk and make even more profit.... To cover the little loss leader on petrol
So at the end of the day who is the loser......
