Hi, does anybody know how to do the signature that always sits at the bottom of every post that people make?

I have noticed that some of them you can click on lines of text to give a link to another web page.

I have got a photobucket account now, how do you put this in the signature so it can be clicked also? I know I'm being thick but I cannot get it to go on, I haven't disabled anything.
Thanks.

In the little box marked "signature" on the page that opens when you click the link Ste posted you need to enter something like this:
Code:
[i][url=http://www.sampleaddress.co.uk/yourpicture.jpg]What you want the signature to say[/url][/i]

This will give you something like you see at the bottom of this post.

And Ste, or whoever you are using Ste's account, that link is work safe. Aren't you a little off form there? Wink

What I do when I want to change something in mine is click 'reply' to any old random post, so you get the new post box. Then write whatever you want your sig to say, using the HTML tools at the top of the new post box (hover your mouse over the URL button and copy the format of the second example to see how to link to a page using words) then I copy the text without posting it. Click on the My profile button, scroll to the signature box and paste it all in.

If you tell me what you want it to say I'll do the HTML stuff for you.

Hi, yes it worked, I thought it did it on all the posts including old ones. But it seems to do it on a new one.

Thanks for your help, I think I will just use the WWW box at the bottom, I know how that works.
