after doing bike lessons (failed test today if anyone wants to laugh :p ) i really enjoyed being able to hear someone. it has made me want to get a pair of intercoms. me and a friend plan to ride quite abit on our 125's around a roads and london so it would be useful.
i have had a look on ebay at the cobra mt800 which works out to about 69 quid. looks good but i have no idea really. i don't mind spending up to 150 if the cheaper ones are no good. thanks ____________________ Hit the G spot. |

Your instructor would have the most experience of them out of any biker in the world, his advise would be worth more than anyones I expect.
Bad luck on the test mate, if it helps, I only passed second time. ____________________ "THOSE WHO RISK NOTHING, DO NOTHING, ACHIEVE NOTHING, BECOME NOTHING." |

+1 for autocom - theyre the dogs bollocks.
but you will pay for them, and unless you get a really good deal youll have to buy a radio and connecting leads seperate.
BUT theyve got a half price sale on at www.cmcbikes.com & a few other places at the moment so have a look. ____________________ I have misplaced my pants.........

No, thats an all in package. I have said this many times, don't buy cheap, you will be disappointed. Use Autocom, Starcom or intaride. IMO the Autocom beats the others hands down (personal experience). Buy an older unit off ebay.
Have a look at the Autocom website, it is a bit confusing but once you get your head round what does what its pretty easy. https://www.autocom.co.uk/
Theres a few on ebay, you might have to buy the radio and an extra headset/mic for pillion though.

Ride magazine did product tests on autocoms this month.
1st 'Best buy' was the 'Autocom Active-Duo' for £200 (quite pricey)
but 3rd place was the 'Albrecht AE600' which is only £50. Available from www.alan-uk.com
So get a good Autocom second hand, or if you want brand new (with no risk of dirty ear AIDS) get that Albrecht one |
