Tried to tax my Kwak online a couple of days ago but it wouldn't allow me to due to the MOT running out before the tax expiry date. Got my restest done this morning, just went online to tax the bike and now their sodding database cant find any record of my insurance policy!

Computer says no!
Mad Mad Mad Mad Mad

I've got the bastard policy sitting here in front of me, why cant there be an option to input your policy number so it can have a better look? Now I've got to trog into town during my lunchbreak on Monday, cue up with the crusties and geriatrics and be patronised by the one snotty cow the Post Office leaves on duty during the lunch period. If she says to me, "You could have done this online you know" I swear she will learn a few new choice Anglo Saxon phrases. Mad

The same thing would've happened in the Post Office, your MOT must not expire before the tax disc you're applying for starts. And lack of insurance is down to the Motor Insurance Database, the same one used by the website and the postoffice, obviously for some reason your bike is not showing, recently renewed the policy? Give it a day or two.
