Or he wasn't trying to race you. You'd get owned by a full power RS125 if he wanted to beat you.

if he was racing you and drew he should quite riding for life!.
because a full power rs (even restricted imo) should have eaten you alive

If you raced him through some twisties than well done, the RS is a super handling bike, if it was in a straight line it doesn't constitute a race imo... Cool

I thought a restricted RS, if anything, should be a little slower than a new 'sports' 125.

On 125s it's definitely more than just turning the throttle to go fast from a standing start.

Was he definitely trying to race you?

Was probably restricted tbh, you'd be doing pretty well keeping up with him on the twisties if he was full power, and would get eaten on straights.

Yes; I've hit over 130mph 'running tyres in' definitely; if it's in a straight line it's rather irrelevant, however.

was this in a straight line? or twistys?

as already said, if it was the twistys it's down to the rider the majority of the time, even though i'm on a new 1000 I still get my ass owned to be by 5 year old 600/750's in the twistys.

[colin the obvious mode ON]

If you got away first then you won. If they got away first then they won. A race is decided by who comes first. Sometimes races go badly and that can be down to a multitude of factors. Sometimes people don't race. Sometimes people do. Sometimes people do and you don't realise or are not racing. Other times you may think you are racing and they are unaware or not racing intentionally.

[/OFF]

Think that's the bases covered eh Col? Take the night off son.

Thumbs Up
