First off I want to say a big hello to everyone as this is my first post on here (although i've been reading for a while).
Went to see a man about a gsxr750 today for a test ride..... Twisted Evil Twisted Evil Twisted Evil
Fell in love with it, paid my deposit and i'm picking it up on thursday!
It's the '98 SRAD fuel injected model, anyone got any comments on it or any suggestions?

P.S. how do you attach pics to the posts, i cant seem to figure it out.

Srad's were the coolest looking Cool

to add pictures you have to upload them to some web space. then use the url ( ie " https://mywebspace.com/picture.jpg") and when posting put the url in your post and hi-light it and press Img button.

Sweet, I've been looking to get one myself a bit later in the year. Do you mind me asking what sort of money you paid for it?

Sorry i couldnt get my exact bike up, i dont have my pic anywhere on the net only on my comp. These are the colours i have on my bike, nice eh?

Mines got 6-pot tokico calipers instead of the standard 4, braided hoses front, carbon hugger, micron exhaust + original. Good condition apart from some slight cosmetic damage where the guy scraped the front fairing riding out of his shed.

£3,000.....
I think it's a bargain myself as ive seen bikes of the same quality, even older for nearer £3,500.

Ahh my mistake, I don't know a great deal about the gixxer range as yet, the only ones i've been to see are 600's, I just assumed 4 pot was standard.

Still what do you think about the price, I know its hard for you to say because you cant see the cosmetic damage but its very small and easy to clean up.

Nice bike Thumbs Up .
When I was looking for a new bike I was looking at a GSXR750 (or a TRX850) but couldn't afford an SRAD at the time and ended up buying a YZF750 instead.
I'm not dissapointed with my current bike (it's all I need) and the GSXR750 is still a bike I would like to try in the future.

The Sad was just because it isn't an R7. Don't get me wrong, I love my bike and have no reason to upgrade for quite some time, however if it was an R7 I doubt I would ever upgrade, ever.

Those 3 days will pass quickly mate. Thumbs Up And then it'll rain for weeks Thumbs Down Razz

I was quite surprised how nice Stew's bike was in real life, and yep the Akrapovic sounds good. Now i never knew you got to mention it in a mag, you should highlight round your text. I didnt spot it till I saw the picture.
