on the 5th october i ordered a part for my bike from apriliagenuineparts.co.uk and it still hasn't arrived,
i emailed them about 4-5 days ago to ask where the part was but had no reply.

has anyone purchased anything from them before and if so how long did parts take to come?

many thanks

My mate binned his RSV a while back, Aprilia took an absolute age to sort the parts. Nothing unusual, the supplier is probably waiting on Aprilia.

Worth badgering though.... Wink

Parts tend to be a pig to get this time of year due to Aprilia's holiday. My fuel line quick release snapped on me a few weeks back and instead of ordering the OE plastic part I sourced a properly machined metal connector instead. What is it you need?

You'll need to ring round dealers and find one that's got it in stock, I was waiting for about 3 months on a seat from Aprilia, the dealer sourced me another one in the end.

Aprilia are an absolute nightmare to deal with Thumbs Down

I have sworn never to use the brand again since i have experienced their 'service'

the only way to get them to play ball is to get your order ref. number from your vendor along with part numbers and start calling them direct. You will find after around week no#2 of calling your order will appear as if by magic Rolling Eyes

here was my experience getting an O-Ring for an SR50

the customer service people didn't communicate with the parts dept. they couldnt give me a phone number/e-mail as one didnt exist. They also couldnt access the inventory to say if any parts were in stock or when they may arrive? They then said i will have to wait for the part to arrive, i would probably know before they even did about the missing part Thumbs Down

Terrible, lazy disorganised service - says it all Brick Wall
