well, im looking at picking up the the second generation Ipod Touch... but I wasn't sure how the internet works!

I know that it connects through Wi-Fi, but do you need your own wireless point at home or something for it to work? or can you connect to the internet everywhere?

Well if you have a wireless thinger me bob at home you can connect, and you can connect at any wifi hotspot (like starbucks coffee, some subways and crap like that)

But i thought people though ipods for music and not for surfing.

I saved myself about £50 and got a 1st gen 32gb touch and just updated the software for £5.99 Very Happy
