No most Kawaski's are ugly anyway. And those Air vents etc and the lights make the ZX's look like a constipated cod (a fish!)

It looks like somebody glued a dustpan to the bottom of the fairing nose. Nope I don't like it!

Incidentally Shimmydude, I don't think its very sporting of you to post two threads in different sections on the same subject.
It all becomes very confusing you know old man, and it would be rather spiffing if you could just stick to one thread in the future?

Good show! knew you'd understand!

Thumbs Up

So sorry dude, i didn't know we were being as controlled as this on the site. I thought that if i had of put a poll on the workshop people would have had a go at me because it wasn't asking anything technical. Confused

They were different, one was about who liked it (general) and the other was about how could i remove it (workshop). Question

Hmm, they kind of stand out, but i agree with the dust pan comment. Its all down to personal preference.

its not as controlled as this, its only a suggestion to save my confusion. Also I know that people do sometimes get stressed when the same topic is posted lots and lots of times. I'm not having a go, I was just practicing my posh gentleman style of BCF'ing! Smile

Ah right, sorry MarJay, by the way i like the style old bean! Very Happy
It's not that i dont like the air scoop to be under the headlights, it's just the shape that they have made it and the amount that it sticks out. Im sure the Kawasaki designers could have maybe set it in a little more?

You still happy with your ZX6 Craig? Thinking of a 600, and being my size its a though decision, but the ZX6's are of a nice size, can be picked up for a decent price and are usually highly rated.

oh yeah i love it.... it handles well, looks good... and goes like stink Razz its not dated either (well i think) and as for performance...it just about keeps up with the new cbr 600...although don't read to much in to that....because keeping up is one thing, over taking is another Laughing although i cant tell you if it keeps up all the way, me and my mate were racing..and as we hit 140mph...i ran out of petrol and had to fumble round for the fuel tap to switch to reserve Laughing

evan bike mag agree Laughing

Yeh, i was just speaking to someone who has the 2002 600 and now has the 2004 B2 and he loved them both, but admitted he has spent some money on the new one making the handling like the old one, as it was too hard for his liking and needed a damper because as he was coming out of bends it was getting a little too violent for his liking.

No to the dust pan. I must say that I don't like the air intakes on any of the newer Ninja's, ZX10R included. It looks like a large stone has been smashed through the front fairing, but that's just my opinion.

For the money the ZX6 G/J/A bikes are very good. Compared to other similar bikes they are a bit cheaper which means you can get a newer or better condition model for the same money.
They don't have that last % of sharpness that the r6 has, which is nice on the track and are almost up there with the f model CBRs as far as comfort goes. However in 99% of situations they will do either role as good as any of the others and offer a bit more flexibility if you need the comfort so you can ride to the track day Smile.
