I have one of them - not the gay club version, just the standard shame version.

Not much of a fan. The "smoke" is very dry and tastes funny, and if you take a big drag on it you'll just cough.

I just got back from Brussels. They sell fags in 29 packs there, which makes me feel like a macho man.

Mrs Hammers asked what i wanted fro Chrimbo, and i'm seriously considering asking for one of these. I'd still smoke my homemades, but these would be great for the pub and gigs..especially gigs.

Also, i imagine you could put any sort of...ahem..'exotic' oil in them too...

So are you getting the same sort of buzz after dragging on this as you would a regular cig?

I have heard alot about these since i recently stopped smoking and i would like to get one for the novelty value and because i like sitting in my room blowing smoke rings for the craic.

Mine smokes real nice and the nicotine works as normal. I also happen to like the taste and am looking forward to trying the cherry-flavour (on order). Strangely enough I was wondering about adulterating the cartridge too.

I get through four pouches of tobacco a fortnight, so this will more than have paid for itself by the end of next month.

One big issue I found is that it doesn't hit in the same way as a normal fag, and most importantly, seeing as it doesn't burn down you have no idea how much you have smoked.

Meaning I probably get through the equivalent nicotine of 40 fags sitting playing on the xbox for a couple of hours, and this gives me a whore of a headache.

I can smoke it indoors though, the smoke doesn't linger and stain things.

Only problem is that the big twins are the ones to have, and they cost too much. So hopefully an XL1200R (the flat track styled one), or an 883 with the 1200 barrels and pistons.

Well I seem to have inadvertently given up smoking

Dunno how that happened ...
Sort of just stopped last Thursday, had a few "wanna fag" moments, but not had a fag since Thursday night.

How strange, its just come upon me not to smoke.

Admittedly I had quite a nasty chest infection over the last two weeks, which I eventually gave in and asked the GP for antibiotics, but I smoked all the way through that - almost made myself asthmatic because of it, its been quite nasty, but didnt stop me smoking DURING it.

I just "ran out of fags" on Thursday night, and didn't get round to buying any more on Friday.

So I've just gone the whole weekend in the company of family/friends who smoke incessantly, including a couple of hours at a Halloween/Fireworks party on Saturday, and yet somehow ... still not smoking.

Most peculiar.
