Hi guys,

Not posted for a while. Last time I was here I had a stroker (TZR125RR Belgarda)

Now I have a Akira Yanagawa rep.

Sweet bike, i love ZXR400's the tank hoses that do nothing but add an extra +20mph in looks alone....

Didn't even think they did it on the 7 and 9's i thought they were directed to the top of the engine to assist cooling or something stupid like that?

If i remember rightly the 'hoover' tubes would make the air too turbulant to be worthwhile?

Thats what i understood to, they did something on the big ninjas but on the 400 it was for looks alone...

I had an original ZXR750 H1 and on that all they did was direct air onto the cylinder head. No link to the airbox at all. Pretty sure it's the same deal with the 400s.

Pretty little ninja that, I love zxr400's had one for 4 years.

The hoover tubes direct cool air to the top of the airbox intake rather than sucking warm air from around the engine.
