Hi everybody.

To cut a long story short I was riding my Hornet 600 (F4) back home from work and she spluttered to a stop. I switched to the reserve tank and she starts up pretty much straight away (yay).

Thing is, the low fuel light warning never came on at any point? I've took it down to the reserve before and the warning light has come on. When I started her back up the low fuel light came on for a split second so I know the bulb hasn't gone.

I can't be fussed to go to the trouble of buying a new sensor and just wondered if this has happened to any other Hornet owners out there?

Cheers

Steve

Good idea re: checking the wires.

I'll get the Haynes book of lies out later and take a look.

Cheers

I've heard the fuel light on the later hornets is crap. I've heard of this kind of thing before, in a few threads on here as well.

*Waits for 2003 (I think) onwards hornet owners to come along and agree*
