New Graphics Card

Hi all. Just bought myself a new graphics card. The one that came with the computer struggles with any game that is made after 2005, even on the lowest of settings. Bought a ATi Radeon HD4850. Anyone know if they are any good?

A pretty good card for the money and thats a fairly decent deal you got on it. What kind of computer is it going into? Does it have a PCI-E x16 slot?

Should be OK for gaming as long as you don't have a 20"+ screen.

The card that is currently in uses the same, PCI-E x16. The screen is 22", shouldn't be much of a problem should it?

It should be fine at 1680*1050 for most games at medium-fairly high levels of detail with no AA.

I got an nvidia 260 as I have been a fan of the drivers for the cards for years but the specs vs price fore the 4850 and 70 seem stonking!

Good choice either way.
