Okay, Ive got the file converter to change any video file to a 3gp etc.
I just need to get the footage from the DVD onto my Hard drive.
Never done it before, Feel like a right n00b.

Loads of ways to do it mate, but the easiest is probably to download one of these two programs which will rip it to your hard drive as the first step.

DVD Shrink

DVD Decrypter

Got that. now ive got a folder with audio and video files in. Laughing

they need converting to a single file I believe?

Out of interest what was the name of the software you used to convert the files?

My mate has a motorola but he is having problems doing this.

I use that to convert Youtube Video to MP4 for use on my N95 8gb, but there are better apps out there for converting DVD VOB files to AVI etc
