my 2001 nsr starts and revs perfect in neutral but when running jults and jumps at 2000 rpm its not the lubriction or air any ideas

Your oil mixture may be out or you may not be giving it nice long thrashes like it needs (it is a 2 stroke after all).

i timed up the oil pump and it seems to be something else any ideas?

The first easy thing to do is try draining the carb?
Could be water in the bottom of the carb preventing petrol
getting through the main jet.
Could be crap in the petrol blocking the main jet.

I just recently overhauled the carburetter. When talking to honda the over day they thought it may be a blocked exhaust. I don't think it is. i will try it any way any one know the best way?
